There were many open questions before the last round and the evening could not be more dramatic as it was at the end. Union Olimpija for example had to wait a few minutes at the end of its own game to get the result from Zadar and Belgrade and only when it was confirmed that Budućnost and Zagreb CO too suffered the defeat the celebration of the Slovenian team started. For Hemofarm Stada the victory against Union Olimpija was enough to confirm the third place on the standings while a late evening drama continued with both games, played at 20.15 (Bosna – Crvena zvezda, Helios – Radnički).

Helios did its job with the victory against Radnički but faced a huge disappointment immediately after the success when news from Sarajevo came. Namely, Bosna turned the game against Crvena zvezda at the very last seconds and so assured the 13th place on the standings. This means that Helios took the last position and will not be able to participate in the NLB league in 2010/11 season.
