Ljubljana and Union Olimpija wrote history in 2002, when the first final Four Tournament was held in the Slovenian capital with some prestigious guests at the stands. The so called »Slovenian« F4, where Cibona was the only guest in the company of three domestic teams, Union Olimpija, Krka and Pivovarna Laško, finished with the celebration of the best Slovenian team Olimpija for which a great generation played at that time.
