The draw will be held during the regular General Assembley, held in Ljubljana, and will decided the schedule for all 14 teams, which will play in the 2011/12 season. The partisipants, confirmed by NLB League are: Union Olimpija, Helios, Zlatorog, Krka (all Slovenia), Cibona, Cedevita, Zagreb CO (all Croatia), Široki (BiH), Partizan, FMP, Hemofarm, Radnički (all Serbia), Budućnost (Montenegro) and Maccabi (Israel).
Cibona and FMP received a national wild-card as the third and fourth team from Croatia and Serbia while Maccabi was given a general wild-card instead of Nymburk.
