





It is a long time since Cibona scored over 100 points. This time its victim was Lovćen although the guests gave a strong resistance a the start of the game. But that lasted only until the 5th minute when Cibona took the lead (12:10) and increased the advantage ever since. One of the most satisfied after the game was probably the young Damir Omerhodžić, one of the biggest talents, who got his five minutes of play and took advantage of them.
Valuating the play Pivovarna Laško definitely deserved the win in the Slovenian derby with Krka but did not hold out the pressure in the last minutes although leading most of the time (9:0, 11:3, 27:16 ect.). Saša Dončić was unstoppable while Krka started up in the last five minutes, tying in the 35th minute for the first time (56:56) and came in front moment after that (61:60) with a 3-pointer from Gnjidić. It retained the advantage until the end.
Nobody would bet Crvena zvezda will defeat Reflex in the city's derby with quite an easiness as it played without four key players (injuries). The game was more or less tied only until the 10th minute to allow Crvena zvezda totally taking control over the game after that. It was only one team that was seen on the court until half time led by Aleksandar Đurić and Goran Jeretin (41:27). Reflex came back in the third period and cut the margin to five points, tied in the last five minutes but then Čedomir Vitkovac assured the win for the host team with a triple.
After eight consecutive wins on its home ground Budućnost fall in the game with Zadar. It was Marko Banić and Jakov Vladović who can be called hangmen of the team from Podgorica as they contributed a major part to the surprising win of Zadar. Budućnost did not have an answer in defense and played below average in offense. The last chance for the host team to come in front was in the 37th minute when Gavrilo Pajović tied to 84:84. But a minute later Zadar already escaped to 92:84.
Two over-times have been played in Split. After everything pointed to an easy win of Zagreb the hosts have the joy to celebrate an important success. Zagreb led 74:59 in the 34th minute and have a 12-points advantage in the 37th but succeeded to waste everything until the end. Everything was decided when Kedžo made free throws for 117:113 9 second before the end.
There was one factor Geoplin Slovan will regret after being defeated by Banjalučka pivara – rebounding. It lost that battle throughout the game, being without even one rebound in the last period while the guests ended with 10 of them in that period. Geoplin Slovan entered the last period with an advantage of one point but then Banjalučka turned the result until the 38th minute (61:71).
